When a medal winning gymnast dies tragically in a fall, her devastated parents are asked if they have considered organ donation. And so begins the story of Dani – a 15 year old girl needing a heart transplant.
She meets Milo, a teen boy in the next hospital room, waiting for a new liver. They discuss life, death and what it all means in their own ways. When Dani receives a new heart (the gymnast’s), she is increasingly intrigued at who it belonged to.
Suitable for boys and girls as the story is told in the viewpoint of Dani and Tyler – the donor’s older brother who is dealing with his sister’s death.
