Apple lives with her Nan. She can remember her mum leaving when she was three, and wishes she would come back. Nan is overprotective and strict and Apple wonders what her mum would be like.
And then one day years later, Mum is back. They go shopping and to nice lunches, and she wants Apple to live with her. Although she loves her Nan, her mum sounds so much more fun.
