Jerry is invisible. Well, he might as well be, because no-one ever says Hi on the playground, chooses him for teams or apologises when they bump into him.

Until Molly came along. Finally Jerry feels like a real person, with someone to laugh, play and talk with. Having a friend like Molly is wonderful.

Remembering what it was like without Molly, he wonders whether someone else might need a Jerry. He doesn’t have to look far.

Making friends can be hard for many children. Invisible Jerry is for both the quiet and the confident kids on the playground. Just be yourself and a friend will come along  or  If you see someone is being left out, try to include them too. A gentle book to encourage discussion in the classroom or home.
