Little Hector wants to play with his friends in their cove, but there is danger everywhere! The fishing boats have large nets they can be caught in. The ball they have been tossing about comes apart. It was made of tangled plastic bags and rubbish, and there is even more floating around them. Hector knows sea creatures who have been hurt by rubbish and he decides they have to do something!

Hector has an idea. Putting to use one of the very things that endangers them, Hector and his friends clean up their cove, and make things much safer again.

A wonderful way to highlight a worldwide problem of our rubbish that has found its way into our oceans, and how it puts sea creatures at risk.

The back cover provides many ideas on how to tackle plastic in our homes and environment. This is the 2nd in the Little Hector series.
