After saving hundred’s of animals, and now in charge of a train, Gwen appreciates the much faster way to travel. But Wolf Girl isn’t confident at the train’s controls.
Suddenly her worries about other trains on the tracks around her, vanish. Staring through the window of a train alongside them is her sister Kate. Just as quickly, she has gone again.
Gwen knows she must follow her, no matter the danger or proximity to the fast approaching town in front of them. Using the train as a weapon, Wolf Girl and her pack are soon inside the guarded walls of this town where even more danger awaits. Word that her parents are somewhere close has driven her this far. Maybe this is where she will find her sister too?
Before she can react her pack are under attack, particularly Sunrise, her giant wolf. Gwen will do anything for her pack, even putting off her search for her sister-so-close.
Just when she think she’s finally met her match in an evil soldier named Special Officer Evans, strange people come to her aid. One has a unicorn horn, and another has wings! One is built like a bull. Who are they?
Wolf Girl is in real trouble this time, and torn between old family and new / human or animal. Her skill with a slingshot is undeniable, but there are soldiers everywhere. She finally learns what happened all those years before when she was separated from her family. Their city was attacked by another land with a leader who will stop at nothing.
If you have read the Mythix series by Anh Do, you will recognise characters who come to Wolf Girl‘s aid. I’m looking forward to seeing them work together to solve all of their problems and defeat the one man who has caused them all!
