This story is told by an eight year old girl who hates hunting of any kind. The problem was that her friends next door all loved hunting and often shot ducks, deer and other animals for sport.

One day the girl is so cross she points her magic finger on them. She’s used it before on a mean teacher (giving her a tail and cat’s whiskers). This time she wasn’t sure what was going to happen to her neighbours (the Greggs), but when they went shooting that day something strange began to happen.
