Alfie looks after his dad and used to spend lots of time with him imagining adventures between them but now he is nearly 13 he believes he is getting too old to imagine things.
Due to a terrible experience at a dentist years before, Alfie has avoided all dentist appointments, hiding all the dentist letters from his Dad for years. His teeth are rotten, smelly and falling out.
A new dentist comes to the school, but Alfie and his friend Gabz are wary of her as she seems too white, too nice and a little bit weird…
