Abigail has thought of a new BIG question to ask. It has been growing in her mind as she jumps in the puddles and and watches the winter rain fall. “Where does the rain come from?”

Abigail’s mum has a wonderful answer for her, told in a story all of its own, about a tiny drop of water with a dream to fly.

This story explains the process of water through nature from oceans, rivers and lakes, then into the air as steam which rises, cools, and condenses and falls as rain to the oceans rivers and lakes again.

Each colourful spread involves water, as raindrops, and puddles to play in,  lakes to row on, and rivers to wade in. An imaginative answer to an important scientific question. Excellent.
