It is the time of the Vikings – when Wolf Ships prowled the seas, filled with raiding parties and pirates. To earn a place on a wolf ship, the young men must complete Brotherband training. Hal Mikkelson begins his with excitement and trepidation. He’s not popular in town as his mother is a freed Araluan slave and his father is dead.
With the help of his best friend and an older mentor, Hal becomes a leader of his Brotherband and guides them to victory. As Brotherband champions, they are given the task to guard the town’s greatest treasure.
But things go terribly wrong….
