Rowley’s best friend is Greg Heffley. Rowley looks up to Greg and has decided to write his own journal, just like Greg.

Greg isn’t happy, and as always, twists his gullible friend into doing what he wants – writing about him instead. Rowley tells the story of their friendship in his own words, with tales of pranks and tricks (usually on him), and chore trickery and cheating. All against him, by his best friend Greg.

Despite all of this, Rowley remains Greg’s friend with only a whack with a tennis racket, and some dobbing Greg into his mum a few (lots) of times to strike back.

With pages packed full of the black and white drawings Wimpy Kid fans love and a new perspective on this strange ‘friendship’ Rowley finally has his say.
