Nee Naw the Fire Engine is at the local annual Picnic Day where everyone is having lots of fun. Nee Naw fills up the pool for a cool swim and Granny’s Cow is theDusty the Digger Book Review Cover first to jump in.

The goats are up to mischief among the food stalls, but everything is going smoothly until… These goats named Plinky and Plonky get hold of Granny’s Rainbow Jelly Powder. Fleeing their crime, they end up in the freshly filled swimming pool – where they are soon set in coloured jelly and STUCK!

Nee Naw tries to help but knows that this is a job for his mate Dusty the Digger. Dusty arrives swiftly at the call and digs the naughty goats and cow out of their sticky situation.

It’s Jelly all round everyone!

Another in the Nee Naw and Friends picture book series, Dusty the Digger will be gobbled up by Digger Mad youngsters, just as quick as jelly is enjoyed in this funny tale.

Bruce Potter’s full colour illustrations portray all the action of this escapade at an annual picnic. Children, jelly, cows and naughty goats make a hilarious combination, whilst sparking imaginations.
