In Hana’s house some things are a bit tight. They have snacks, but not really enough to go round. TheyEnough Book Review Cover have toys but they are broken. They have clothing but are quickly growing out of them. What they do have enough of is love and hugs in their family.

Others in Hana’s street are also in need – of help, or food, or just a kind face. Hana decides to see what she can do, borrowing from one person to help another and thinking of ways to help her street.

Hard times come hand in hand with winter and no matter how Hana tries, now there is never enough of anything.

When everyone in Hana’s community work together to help each other, it is amazing what they achieve.

Written in a time of Covid-19 restrictions in New Zealand, Enough portrays the lives of many families who are struck by sickness, sadness and no work.

Copy right Licensing NZ were looking to grant funding for projects that responded to the changed environment in the NZ writing and publishing sector during the Covid-19 pandemic. This kiwi author/illustrator duo have worked on 5 books together, including award winners. They felt it important to portray a typical NZ community in any town around the country.

One dollar from each book sold will be donated to Feed the Kids Whaingaroa, Raglan, an initiative run by volunteers to make sure local kids have Enough to eat.
