Hugo is a pigeon. He lives in a park and has an important job to do. He makes sure everyone who comes to the park is happy, tidy, and rested. When it’s too cold to visit the park he knocks on nearby windows – reminding everyone that Spring isn’t far away.

But there is one window that remains closed to him. Even the curtains are shut tight. He doesn’t give up, and finally ‘somebody’ peeks out. Hugo performs his cheerful dance, but ‘somebody’ won’t open the window. It’s only when he’s late one day, and something terrible happens that ‘somebody’ is brave enough to show she really cares.

Together they help each other as winter wanes and the park fills with people again. This time, ‘somebody’ joins in the fun.

A determined, positive pigeon and a shy little girl discover a beautiful friendship. But the little girl has to find her courage first. Adorable.
