From a baby in nappies, Ignatious Peck loved to build. With dirt, food, and even his dirty nappies, he built towers, structures and famous monuments, and his proud parents encouraged every build. But when Iggy got to second grade (year 2), he encountered a teacher with a fear of architecture.

It’s not until a school trip where Iggy proves to Miss Greer that his building skills are to be applauded, not stomped on, that she finally sees how talented he really is.

This picture book is sophisticated enough for any picture book fan from 4 to 44 and beyond. Would make a great read-aloud at the end of a junior school day.
