Joy has heard something wonderful!

Somewhere out in the world, there is a place where wishes come true and a very wise teacher awaits.

Joy knows she must find this magical place and sets off on her quest. Little does she know this will be a fantastic adventure, sailing across oceans, creeping through caves, and sleeping under the stars.

She meets a pelican, a deer and a little goat too. Each of these animals have their own piece of paradise that Joy enjoys. But maybe what she is looking for is right where she started?

And the teacher…? She’s not far away either.

I wouldn’t be surprised if children become keen travellers after reading this story as Joy’s Journey is so full of fun, wonder and encounters through many landscapes and water worlds of lakes, oceans and waterfalls.

Self discovery is the theme of this brightly illustrated picture book, along with appreciating what is right in front of you.

There is also the age old advice – a destination is great to look forward to, but don’t underestimate the Joy of the Journey.
