Just like the flowers and trees and plants in a garden, we are all different. But when we see someone acting strangely, doing something we don’t understand or a different way from ourselves, we often turn away and judge that person on what we see and assume.

This wonderful picture book shows young readers how we can all be different and yet, underneath still the same. Several children’s voices introduce themselves, telling the reader they are blind, or deaf, need a wheelchair, have an allergy, or something slightly different. They explain how they live day to day with their difference but are really just like everyone else, then going on to ask their own question of the reader.

A brilliant picture book celebrating our differences that make us the people we are.
