Catching a bus to another Kyoto wonder, Mina is also fascinated by a woman making origami shapes in her lap. The woman sees Mina watching and gifts her with a red paper boat and a red bird.

“Arigato” (Thank you) says Mina.

The boat and bird enthrall Mina until she gives them a new purpose. Unfolding them and writing a note inside each one, she refolds them as the woman had showed her, and sends them on their own journey.

Little does she know the will soon capture another child’s heart.
