Sarah has two Grandmothers. One has given her a copy of The Koran, and one has given her a copy of The Bible. Sarah cherishes these gifts and loves all the stories they hold.

When Grandmother Azar shares the story of Baby Jesus from the Koran, Sarah listens intently as she sits on Grandmother’s knee, telling her her favourite parts.

When Grandmother Maria reads about the birth of Baby Jesus from the Bible, Sarah loves the stars and angels and the three wise men.

But Sarah wonders how two stories can be the same in some ways and different in others?

‘Both are about the mystery of God,’ says Grandmother Azar, ‘So how can we say one is truer than the other?’

Sarah is just glad she doesn’t have to choose, as she is surrounded by all of her family.

A wonderful way to explore different religions and beliefs – with family being the most important component of the story.
