Poop and Pasha are rescue centre cats, and they are excited to be adopted by the Wilde family. And Wild
they are. Doing things together is the Wilde way and they sweep Poop and Pasha up into their musical, happy, and artistic life.
Poop is a nervous kitty but thankfully has overcome the messy problem that gave her her name. Pasha is a sophisticated puss after living with a professor. Pasha can read, speak 6 languages, and is always deciphering or explaining things about the humans around them, to Poop.
Their new perfect lives are soon invaded by a Scaredy Cat. Only cats can see these terrifying creatures. Has your cat ever sprung into the air for no reason? Have they stared into space or hissed suddenly? They have just seen a Scaredy Cat!
Poop and Pasha’s Scaredy Cat is a particular nasty one, demanding complete submission to him and his rules. If they don’t, he will make sure that they don’t even last their two week trial period from the rescue centre. They see he means business as he trashes the Wilde’s kitchen – leaving Poop and Pasha with the blame.
An educated cat, Pasha won’t give in, and soon they plan to try and rid their cul-de-sac of their tyrant. The only problem is, they need the petrified and brain washed neighbourhood cats to stand with them.
Scaredy Cat is told in the multiple viewpoints of cat characters. It’s a tale of control by fear, confronting those fears, and being brave by standing up for what’s right.
Scaredy Cat is a bully with a past, and Poop and Pasha unravel the mystery of this furry dictator, the spooky house on the golf course, and its cat-hating-human inhabitant.
Cat lovers will love the feline puns and clever word play from Pasha. Poop follows along, trying to keep her anxiety in check, soon discovering her own courage.
