Old MacDonald had a farm… with a tiny polka-dotted red tea pot. Little does he know that inside this teapot is a Teeny Weeny Blue Genie.
Doing some cleaning leads to tidying his cupboards and wiping down his teapot.
Whoosh! Out comes a tiny genie, ready to do what he does best – grant wishes!

Old MacDonald doesn’t take long to choose his first wish – a bright red, brand new, tractor! A noisy ride around the farm excites all the animals into a hullabaloo. Too noisy, thinks the genie.

What about a wife, thinks Old MacDonald. His new wife wishes for a wardrobe for her clothes, and the power tools to build it. More noise!
A baby, wish the MacDonalds. A dog for the baby, a cat to chase…. oh no, more noise!

The Teeny Weeny Genie tries to return to his quiet world inside his teapot, and gets a wonderful surprise!

It’s always nice to read a new Julia Donaldson, because you know it’s going to be entertaining. Young children will love the chaos, the animals, the plethora of wishes made.

To his surprise the Teeny Weeny Genie is granted a wish or two too!
