It’s been 6 months since Australia was invaded by a foreign power. Teens Ellie, Robyn, Lee, Homer andThe Third Day, The Frost Book Review Cover Fi have done all they can to make it difficult for the foreign soldiers, blowing up a key bridge, enemy headquarters and other key equipment or sites.

The toll on them is showing – both physically and emotionally. After staying low in their hidden campsite called Hell, they decide to get moving again, if only for their sanity, and because it’s getting colder.

Travelling away from Wirrawee, they see work parties under armed guard. Working alongside the other prisoners is their friend Kevin who they haven’t seen since the night he drove Corrie to the hospital with a bullet wound. They know they can’t leave the area without at least trying to free him. The enemy however, have ruthless measures in place to prevent escape.

What follows is their most dangerous and ambitious plan yet. An explosion big enough to cause a mini tsunami, helicopters, spot lights and gunfire surround them as they flee.

Keeping free is harder now as the enemy search for them relentlessly. Finally their time runs out. Is this it? Are they to be executed?

This series just gets better and better!
