Do you believe in ghosts? A little girl invites you into her home. It is a large 18th century house and she begins to show you around, wondering out loud if it is haunted. She has lived there for a while and never seen a ghost. But she has heard things…

She’s a little odd herself, with her pigtails and green skin.

What does a ghost look like? Are they like sheets with holes to look through? Do they wear chains, watching her look for them, again and again… and again? No matter how long she searches and in how many places, she has never seen one.

Should she keep looking? Do they not want to be seen or maybe they never existed in the first place?

Oliver Jeffers has done it again, just in time for Halloween. Something special lies between each page of this picture book.

As a little girl looks for the ghosts she thinks she has felt and heard throughout her house, they appear as if like magic.

The Author has used aged black and white photos of an 18th Century Mansion to lay his story out on.
