Emika Chen has survived the Warcross Games, but is devastated by the truth about Warcross designer and owner Hideo Tanaka. They have become close, but what he’s planned for his games algorithm is something she cannot accept. Driven by the loss of his younger brother, Hideo is determined to stop crime in the world, but at what cost?

Torn by her feelings for Hideo and what she feels is right, Emika is forced to put them aside when her name is at the top of an assassination list in the dark web. It’s not her only problem. There are only a few Warcross users left across the world that haven’t been affected by Hideo’s plan, but that will change after the final Warcross ceremony, where the world will be completely under his control.

Others have their own plans for control of the powerful Neuronet that not only run Warcross, but technology across the world. Even worse than Hideo’s algorithm, Emika is caught between the two sides and the truth is revealed about Hideo’s little brother’s disappearance. Can she use her powerful coding skills to not only stop Hideo, but someone more ruthless than she can imagine?

The second part in the Warcross Series, Wildcard continues Emika’s story, throwing her between two sides of madness. One is based on grief, and the other fear – resulting in a hacking battle she’s not sure she can win.

Packed full of techno talk and action, this episode completes this duology with a gripping ending.
