Scott loves his bear Buttons and how he makes him feel brave.

His friend Rosie has a Unicorn called Your Majesty that makes her feel the same.

Then there is a big boy at school called Duncan. Duncan cancels out any brave they feel every time he picks on Scott.

He calls Scott names. He wrecks Scott’s artwork. Then Buttons mysteriously vanishes.

Scott can’t find his brave without Buttons. On dress-up day at school, his teacher makes everything extra- fun and somehow things feel different for Scott and Rosie.

In the playground at lunchtime Duncan suddenly finds out how brave Scott and Rosie can really be. He might just know where Buttons might be too.

Scott finding his brave is the very best thing, and now things are different.

A simple story about standing up for yourself when something is happening that you don’t like. A friend by your side always helps.
