Kid Normal and his friends the Super Zeroes are relieved that many rogues are off the streets and locked up where they belong. But one isKid Normal (4) and the Final Five Book Review Cover still out there. He is Nicholas Knox and was the brains behind villain Nektar’s reign of terror (back in book 1).

Knox is vain, suave and terribly cunning, and most of all, still wants to rule the world. He has an evil plan to make the Heroes Alliance help him achieve his dream.

What!? The Super Zeroes help a baddie instead of fight them? Let me explain.

The Heroes Alliance has always operated behind the scenes, under the view of the normal public, in fact, saving the world by catching one villain at a time – in secret. Knox decides to reveal them all, even telling the public where the Alliance schools are.

Before they know it, Murph and his friends have to run a gauntlet of angry sign bearing protestors outside the school gates. They all seem angry at the Superhero Alliance, calling them sneaky and dangerous and demanding all Alliance schools should be closed down.

This is all part of Knox’s plan. If the Superheroes and particularly the Superzeroes (Murph and his friends) are exposed then ridiculed and driven to hide from the public or even better, be locked up, then Knox will be free to do whatever he wants!

Murph is shocked to see one person after another turn against them, even his own brother! He knows that this is their biggest mission yet. Luckily, there are people that don’t believe Knox. They might not be heroes themselves but are very clever in their own right.

These people are the Resistance, and with the Superzeroes help, rise up to fight Knox. Somehow he has the general public glued to their phones, computers and tablets. Especially at 6pm every day. Are they watching the news? What is sooo interesting? The Superzeroes are shocked when they find out!

No. 4 . and the final in this hilarious, action packed, imaginative series. Each of the Superheroes quirky powers are now refined for perfect power against any villain, but they are really put to the test this time.

Who would have thought that tiny horses summoned on demand, the ability to blow up (make bigger, not explode) your own body parts, or summon storms would be handy in the fight against evil.

Murph excels himself again in the leadership of his crew, going up against the brilliant mind of Nicholas Knox, the worst villain of all. This story is told by the narrator directly to the reader, which pulls you into the story along with the exciting plot.

Funny without being silly, this superhero adventure is the final fight against renown villains, with only the Superzeroes left to fight. These final five work together brilliantly to convincingly prevail. But it’s definitely a close call.

Phew!
