Lost in the wilderness, Gwen is scared, thirsty and hungry. Backtracking towards their car and her family, she finds no sign of anyone. But a puppy finds her and her new family begins. Gwen soon finds herself the leader of a pack of dogs, all refugees of the same flight Gwen’s family took. Weeks and months pass, as Gwen learns how to keep herself and her pack alive. Despite tramping further and further through the bush everyday, there is still no evidence of any people.

  • This book is action packed with a lot of new words and interesting phrases. The story is so good that I am out of words to describe the experience of reading this novel. I love it so much, ten out of ten! I love the fact that it is not fantasy and that it might become true(hopefully not soon).
